Local-first tools
The browser-based tools on this site are intended to parse logs, payloads, and other debug artifacts locally in your browser session. As designed, the raw content you paste or upload into those tools is not sent to Asyncronaut servers for parsing.
Detection and redaction features are best effort. Review the results before sharing them anywhere else.
Browser storage and local history
Some tools can store optional local history in your browser so you can revisit recent work. That history lives in your browser storage on the device you used and can be cleared from the tool interface or by clearing site data in your browser.
Uploaded and pasted content
When you paste text, logs, or payloads into the tools, you are responsible for the material you choose to process. Do not treat anonymization output as a guarantee that every sensitive value was caught.
Newsletter and article subscriptions
If you subscribe to article updates, Asyncronaut stores the contact details you provide so new article alerts can be sent to you and your subscription status can be managed. That includes your email address and any name fields you choose to submit.
Analytics and cookies
Asyncronaut does not currently present a separate analytics, advertising, or marketing cookie consent flow. The browser storage referenced on this page is tied to site functionality, such as optional tool history, rather than ad-tech tracking.
If your browser stores site data while you use these tools, it is for requested functionality rather than cross-site behavioral advertising.
Contact handling
If you contact Asyncronaut by email or through other direct channels, your message and any related follow-up details may be retained for normal business communication, response, and relationship management.
